Adelman Gardens Peony Paradise | Four

This is the fourth and last post on Adelman Gardens Peony Paradise in Salem, Oregon.  It's a shame that certain flowers are not in bloom all year long, like peonies but that is nature's way.

We have to enjoy them while they are here.  The last photo here is of their great water feature they have in the middle of the garden.

If you missed the first three posts here are all the links to the series: Post One...Post Two...Post Three

Please support by blog by checking out these recommended books on Peonies sold through Amazon: (I receive a small commission if you purchase a product)

1) Peonies by Allen Rogers  (Al Rogers has been growing peonies since childhood, and this book represents more than 60 years' experience. Peonies are treasured by gardeners for their longevity, lush foliage, rich fragrance, and landscape uses. Captured within these pages are not only the flavor, charm, and history of the peony and its hybridizers but also expert information about the genus Paeonia and its many cultivars.)

2) Peonies (Firefly Gardener's Guide) ( The dazzling peony with its generous blooms is revered and treasured in North America as it has been for centuries in its country of origin, China. Peonies is a comprehensive guide to selecting and growing the best species and hybrids for every region and garden condition.)

3) The Gardener's Peony [Illustrated] ( The Chinese have been growing tree peonies for 1600 years but these exotic plants still make a novel addition to the Western garden. A full-size plant bearing dozens of flowers is an awesome sight and the selection here includes the best of the Chinese and Japanese cultivar ranges, the classic hybrids and the sought-after hybrids raised by Arthur Saunders in the 1930s that range in colour from yellow to mahogany-red.)
