Snowball Trees

We are fortunate to have a large Snowball Tree in our backyard.  Unfortunately, the blossoms come in the springtime and go away super fast, so you have to enjoy them while you can.

Snowball Trees (Viburnum Opulus) are relatives of Honeysuckle which I didn't know until I did a little research. They don't look a thing like Honeysuckle.

When all the blossoms mature they make for absolute gorgeous viewing.  The only negative is when the flowers are done blooming and fall to the ground...it looks like it has been snowing.
