Lavender Farms In Oregon

Oregon Lavender Farm opens their doors at least once a year at the end of June.  If you are into lavender, 'tis the place.

The botanic name is lavandula...I have always referred to it as English Lavender...soap, perfume.

Their are many lavender farms in Oregon.  However, I have only been to one and photographed it.

The Oregon Lavender Farm has exceptional gardens and that is what you will be seeing here.  You can take photographs of their fields, but it was not a very nice day to do that. 

People buy lavender plants like crazy.  Why not?  It is one of the most aromamatic plants there is!
