Back to Schreiner's Iris Gardens in Salem, Oregon. Where cool flowers reside!

I know of no other place that has beautiful Irises like they do. The trouble is the Irises last only a short time.

Please enjoy!

Please help support my blog by checking out these recommended products through Amazon: (If you buy a product I receive a small commission)

1) The Iris Family: Natural History and Classification (Irises and their relatives are lily-like plants related to the orchid and narcissus families, with whom they share a propensity for large, brightly colored, attractive flowers)

2) The Gardener's Iris Book (Whether the reader is new to irises or has loved them for decades, this is the most complete and useful book)

3) Iris : Flower of the Rainbow (Quote: absolutely the best book I've seem on iris. The book is well laid out and very informative. Grosvenor is a leading authority on iris and comprehensively explains each genus as a group as to characteristics, culture and breeding.

Also, if you are an art lover, (you are, aren't you?) the following link to Art.com is a very cool thing to check out: Purchase Limited Editions Art Prints at Art.com
