Tom's Electric Antique Truck

Tom's Electric Truck was sitting in a parking lot in Oregon City, Oregon. It had to have been a working truck at some point in time...the phone number with the prefix "Olive", on the truck dates way back!

Tom's truck says his "specialty" was "Kohler Lightplants". These were self contained gasoline engines generating electricity, mainly in rural areas. Now, as well as in the past, Oregon City has a large rural area.

They were small four cylinder water cooled engines. Tom has one sitting in the bed of his pickup.

These generators weighed about 500 pounds.

The image has been converted to a digital painting that I hope you enjoy. If you would like to explore this image, or others, please see link below image!
