Lorillard's Snuff

There is this cool antique shop in Wheeler on the Oregon Coast. And, this is one of the displays in the shop. The place is huge...the town small!

The Lorillard sign for "snuff" caught my eye. Snuff is a smokeless tobacco made from ground tobacco leaves. It is "snuffed" into the ole nasal cavity.

It was the thing to do in the 17th century in Europe. Now days folks just "snuff" other things up their noses!
