Cool Lavender Fields

I am still posting photos of the Woodland Lavender Farm. It is without doubt the most pristine Lavender spot (any spot) I have ever been to.

Of course, there are the Lavender fields, but the view is awesome and unsurpassed by other places I have visited! It is located smack dab in the middle of Oregon Wine Country, only a fence separates them from vineyards.

The second pic here is of the original house on the property. It has seen better days, but it adds atmosphere to the site.

Yamhill Lavender Festival

Last Sunday, July 15th my wife, puppy and I attended the Yamhill Lavender Festival in Yamhill, Oregon. It's a small celebration people-wise, but a big celebration quality-wise.

It is part of the Oregon Lavender Festival. There was some excellent artwork on display and I am posting just a few examples of it.

I don't know the names of the artists, so please forgive me.
