Scott Kelby's World Wide Photo Walk 2012 -Pt4

This is the fourth and final post for Scott Kelby's World Wide Photo Walk. This will feature the photography of David Bowles and the Oregon City, Oregon portion of the Walk.

David has taken some unusual shots.  The first one of stained class windows in a church next to the John McLoughlin House. The second is the Oregon City Elevator overlooking the Oregon City-West Linn Bridge.

The third are reflections from the I205 Bridge in the Willamette River taken from Jon Storm Park.  The fourth is the Singer Hill Falls and the final one is the Oregon City-West Linn Bridge.

Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk 2012 -Pt3

Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk 2012 was a success, we had many outstanding photographers participate in the Oregon City, Oregon tour.  Mary S. fits this profile to a "T" and this post features her photography.

Mary and I were the first two to sign up for the Oregon City Photo Walk.  Actually, it was her idea.

Mind you, these photos were taken on a drizzly day and visibility was limited.

In the first photo, you are looking south on the Willamette River (As seen from Jon Storm Park), with the I205 Bridge in the foreground and the Sportscraft Marina located off to the left. Next, you are looking at the Oregon City-West Linn Bridge in the background, then Willamette Falls, which is at the end of the shot.

In her second shot, there's a little Americana.  In the third photo, the grave site of Dr. John McLoughlin and his wife Margaret located at the historic McLoughlin House.

The fourth is of the West Linn Paper Mill as seen from the Oregon City Promenade.  Finally, a cool shot of the newly renovated Oregon City-West Linn Bridge.

Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk 2012

This is the second post of the Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk.  Our tour was in Oregon City, Oregon.  There were thirteen participants.

To reiterate: The walk was over two miles. Kind of drizzling. It started at the historic McLoughlin House and ended at Jon Storm Park along the Willamette River.

The following are the excellent photo works of Charlie Hu:  One of the many cool photographers on the "Walk"!

The first shot is Singer Hill Falls, then the Oregon City-West Linn Bridge. He also captured the tunnel that leads from the Oregon City Promenade to the McLoughlin House.

The fourth photo is the fountain at the McLoughlin House and finally he portrays a little of America in the fifth shot.

Worldwide Photo Walk - Oregon City

October 13, 2012 was the day of the Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk.  Our part was in Oregon City, Oregon.  There were thirteen participants including myself as leader.

The walk was over two miles. It was overcast and drizzling. It started at the historic McLoughlin House and ended at Jon Storm Park along the Willamette River.

Some agreed to have me post their photos here and that is exactly what I am going to do.  This post features the cool photography of Neal H...a gentleman who has a neat Sony nex camera.

The first shot here is the copper steeple of a church close to the McLoughlin House. You can see the steeple for miles around.

The second shot are the stairs leading from downtown to upper Oregon City.  They were constructed during the Great Depression.

The third and fourth photos are of the newly reconstructed  Oregon City - West Linn Bridge.

The final shot is the entrance to the Oregon City Elevator taken through a fish-eye.  Once again, I want to thank Neal for sharing his photography.
