Cornus is the scientific names for Dogwood Trees. They are native to Siberia for one.
The particular dogwood pictured here is Eddie's White Wonder. We have two dogwoods and the blossoms are completely different...one is pink and the other white. The white has bigger blossoms and is a favorite.
Both captures here are bracketed shots, using a Pentax DSLR, converted into High Dynamic Range (HDR) Photography using Photomatic and then finalized in Photoshop Elements.
