Shore Acres State Park

A must visit if you happen to go to the Bay Area of Oregon (Coos Bay, North Bend) is Shore Acres State Park.  It is a tad south of Coos Bay on Cape Arago.

The week of June Fourth was the third time my wife and I had visited the Park.  On the prior two visits it was raining cats and big dogs.  However, on the third visit we caught a sun break.

If you are expecting some type of a mundane nondescript place you are in for a big surprise.  It is  first-class botanical garden with plants from all over the world.
