Make no bones about it, R Blooms is one cool floral and gift shop located in Lake Oswego, Oregon. Might I say, if there are cooler shops I don't know where they are.
They are situated on one of the busiest drags in town and are easy to find (267 "A" Avenue). At one time they were a bit off the beaten path but, they were always a destination because of their uniqueness and customer base....just not as visible to the public.
Their shop is three stories high, the first two are retail and the third storage. They are packed to the gills with neat and classy things.
When my wife and I visited on a Friday afternoon they were kind enough to let me photograph their wonderful shop. These are very nice people and I promised myself to give them a plug.
Their open house is today which is Saturday, November 17th...10 to 5:30. Pay them a visit, it's well worth your time either today or any day that they are open. Also, here is their site: R Blooms !
For the techies: No, I didn't use my DSLR camera, or a flash (I detest flashes), I used a Canon Elph 300 HS point and shoot. I later bracketed three shots on one of the photos (guess which one) here using a RAW converter. I processed them through Photomatix, PSE and then finalized in Lightroom 4 for special effects. No animal or person was injured in the process.
