Captain's Reel Charters Newport Oregon

Captain's Reel Deep Sea Fishing Charters is located in Newport, Oregon on the Central Coast. I have been out with many bottom fishing charter services on the Oregon Coast but Captain's Reel has kinda of come to the forefront.

The front office, the boat crew comes off as professional and courteous and, everything is on time like it should be. They want you there at 7:30 AM to check in and the boat leaves promptly at 8:00 AM.

The boats are clean and comfortable. The trip to the ocean doesn't take long and, in my estimation the Yaquina Bay Bar is pretty safe in comparison to some others I have been across.

Basically, the boat goes out anywhere to one to one and a half miles out to fish. They pretty much fish parallel to shore moving only when a particular fishing spot gets cold.

They fish with rather light gear and open face spinning reels, jigging right off the bottom. On our trip, we were catching Sea Bass and one person caught a Ling Cod.

I pretty sure that everyone limited out at seven fish a piece. The charter service is located on the Bayfront in Yaquina Bay.

Deep Sea Fishing

This is looking down from the upper dock at two of the boats belonging to "Captain's Reel Deep Sea Fishing" charter service located in Yaquina Bay...Newport, Oregon.

If you are into fishing, they have five hour and all day trips out into the ocean to catch bottom fish, salmon, you name it.
