Windsurfing In Hood River Two

One of the coolest places on the planet for windsurfing, kite boarding is Hood River, Oregon...a short distance from Portland and in the Columbia Gorge.

In Hood River the wind is usually blowing, the Columbia River is choppy and there are hundreds of folks windsurfing and kite boarding. And, especially on a hot summer day.

Hood River Windsurfing



One of the cool windsurfing places in the world is Hood River, Oregon. It's located on the Columbia River, and is just a short trip from Portland up the Columbia Gorge.

Even if there was no windsurfing at all, Hood River would still be a cool place to visit...meaning cool restaurants, pubs, activities, scenery and people.

Here are just a few shots of the windsurfing area...I will show some photos of the town in another post.
