Business Signs

While walking through the Sellwood Neighborhood in southeast Portland, Oregon, you can't help but notice all the cool business signs whether they are menus, names of businesses or otherwise.

The first one here comes from "Weenies From Another World". It's on the side of a food cart/trailer. Portland is the food cart capital of the world and you would be surprised at the innovation that takes place in this very competitive business

Also, Portland has a lot of bicyclist and Sellwood Cycle Repair, in the second photo, fits right in.

The third photo is from "Sock Dreams". Bet you can't guess what they specialize in?

The fourth sign is "Bishops".

And, last but not least "Psychic Nights"...a homemade outdoor street sign.

The Outdoor Business Signs Of McMinnville Two

More of the street and banner signs in the town of McMinnville which is in the heart of Oregon's Wine Country.

Maybe a little off-the-wall photography with the signs, but you have to be impressed with them if you ever get the chance to visit this neat place.

Everywhere you look there are cool wine shops, gift stores and restaurants. One of the most famous restaurants is Nick's Italian Cafe.

The Outdoor Business Signs Of McMinnville

One of the coolest towns in Oregon, make that anywhere, is McMinnville. In this post, I'm going to feature some of the business signs observed as walking down Main Street.

There are, to say the least, a slug of outdoor signs all in different venues...some are overhead, some are placed on the sidewalks, some are banners, some are window signs.

McMinnville is in the heart of Oregon's Wine Country. There are a lot of wine bars, cool gourmet restaurants and gift shops.

When visiting, my wife and I ate at the "Red Fox Bakery"...outstanding! It's a bit off of the main drag. 

We could tell when we were in there that it was were the locals eat. Good choice. My wife had a Waldorf Salad and I had a Reuben...both were super. Did I mention that they have gourmet cookies?
