Flower Garden Pictures Four

Another post featuring the flowers in our yard. This time Dahlias, Mr. Lincoln Rose and one "I Don't Know" flower (the yellow one).

Dahlias and Begonias are my favorite flowers. What's yours? Leave a message on my blog and let me know!

The Dahlias have been blooming for just a short time. The Rose a little longer.

Flower Garden Pictures Three

Another post featuring the plants and flowers in our yard. Some of the most vibrant flowers we have are the Gladiolus.

The flowers here were shot real early in the morning after watering. The Glads come in real different colors including green.

Following are three photos of those Gladiolus plus a Hydrangea:

Flower Garden Pictures Two

This is the second installment of flower garden pictures...Here is the first post: Flower Garden Pictures (link)

Yes, all the flowers are from our yard!

I am no expert on flowers, that's my wife's department, but I sure appreciate their beauty. They are a lot of work however, they are well worth it. They are one of life's great pleasures!

Flower Garden Pictures

I spent last Sunday morning roaming around our yard and taking many photos of our flower gardens. And, we have a huge yard and many flowers.

Mostly, perennials with a few annuals here and there.  Naturally, the first photo here is of an annual...a begonia.

We have quite a variety of fox gloves...fourth photo down. The bees love them. Although, they are sensitive to the sun I would have to say begonias are one of my favorites...due to both the magnificent color variety and texture.
