Wine Country Farm

If you been kind to others, an all around good soul, when you die may you end up at the "Wine Country Farm" (link), a bed and breakfast in Dayton, Oregon. 

It's that great of a place, with a view that won't wait, nice people, great hospitality, relaxation, great wine tasting, horse back riding and so on.

It is smack dab middle of Oregon's Wine Country. Way up high, overlooking miles and miles of the Willamette Valley. 

This is the second visit there. The first visit was over ten years ago. It was great then, and even better now. 

The rooms are spacious, the breakfasts are excellent! 

They also grow and produce wines on the property...which you can sample.

There is even a dog named "Vino"!

Oregon Wineries - Duck Pond Cellars

A cool winery in Oregon Wine Country is Duck Pond Cellars (link). It's located in Dundee, Oregon which is about 45 minutes south of Portland.

Whenever, my wife and I are in the area we try to stop in.

It's a place that has some free wine tasting and regular tasting for a moderate fee. There may be "wine snubs" lurking here and there but, they are doing the tasting and not the serving. 

It's a nice friendly place with a very nice gift shop and, if you want, beautiful facilities for enjoying a bottle of their finest and, award winning wines on the patio. And, maybe a picnic lunch to compliment the wine.
