Reed College In HDR

Reed College In HDR
Went around the Reed College campus in Portland, Oregon at the end of Spring Break to take a few photos. I took all the photographs with a Nikon Point and Shoot, but later converted all the single shots into HDR, or High Dynamic Range Photography, through Photomatix software.

You won't get all the dynamic range, full effect that you would by taking bracketed shots with a DSLR camera, but you can still have lots of fun. Ooh, I have a bottom feeder P&S, too!

If you really want to learn High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR) I recommend only this book. You won't find a lot of fancy HDR shots in it. Sometimes it gets repetitive but you'll learn about HDR and the software that converts your photos. Most books are a waste and an ego thing on the part of the authors.
