The First City Celebration Street Festival is an event that distinguishes Oregon City, Oregon as the first established city in Oregon. Hey, way before the big brothers, seven miles to the north...Portland!
This is not the biggest street event/celebration in Oregon. It's about an eighth of the size of the Mississippi Avenue one held in Portland a couple of weeks ago, but it is a quality one. And, folks come from all over to check out the art, food and the festivities.
