Clackamas County Historical Museum

It only took about eighteen years but my wife and I finally visited the Clackamas County Historical Museum in Oregon City, Oregon. The bad part being we live less than a mile from it.

It is a large three story building with extensive exhibits on just one floor. The museum is free of charge.

The first photo here is a painting of Oregon City as seen in the 1800s with Mt. Hood in the background...it's actually a painting of a painting. The second is a replica of a historical pharmacy and is one of the largest anywhere on display.

The third is an 1800s carriage. The fourth, a historic photograph of Oregon City and, the fifth, a stained glass portraiture from an old church.
