Pictures of Poppies

Poppies are cool flowers, they just don't get all the attention they deserve. Or, they are equated with illegal drugs.

I took a bunch of poppy photos at three different locations...in an iris garden, a peony farm and a produce and flower farm.

They are absolutely vibraint flowers! There is no other way to describe them. Please enjoy!

Who Am I? That Is A Good Question!

My name is Thom Zehrfeld. OK! He is retired but, very active in photography...mainly seascapes, landscapes, architecture with a passion for High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR) and, Digital Painting.

Winner of the 2013 Oregon City Photography Contest. Thom's "McLoughlin Promenade" image is on display at the Clackamas County Historical Museum. Thom is also getting to the point of being historic!

More awards, more bragging stuff: Three years in a row Thom has won Springbok's National Photo Puzzle Contest! So, when he is not out photographing he is putting puzzles together and, doing whatever his wife tells him to do!
