The Cord Car

This is a 1936 Cord 810 Westchester Sedan on display at the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automotive Museum in Hood River, Oregon (WAAAM).

Besides Mercedes Gullwings, Packard Phaetons, Auburn Speedsters, one of the coolest cars to ever come down the pike. I want one!

One of the headlight covers looks like it's not working...I don't care, I'll take it anyway.

I will even take the plane next to it...it matches the Cord. Although, sigh, the garage maybe a tad bit crowded with both.

Hey, I'll even take the model plane next to the front bumper...it matches, too! Following is a cool book on Cords sold through Amazon. You owe it to yourself to check it out!

(Amazon Link) CordCompleteLeatherBound by Josh B. Malks (Thefascinating story of the creation and marketing of one of the mostrecognizable cars ever built in America. Long-lost original charts and graphs have been painstakingly reconstructed and are here presented in print for the first time)
