The "Tall Ships"..."Lady Washington" and "Hawaiian Chieftain" are in Newport, Oregon moored in Yaquina Bay. They are scheduled for a thirteen day stay from May 14th through the twenty sixth.
They have walk-on tours scheduled at different hours during their stay and, you can go on up to a three hour sailing excursions at certain times. They even have mock skirmishes between the two tall ships at certain times.
They offer hands-on experience sailing and other types of educational courses. Kids just love it! Well, adults, too!
