Garden Landscaping On The Oregon Coast

You can get numerous ideas going on home and garden tours in your area. And, maybe incorporating some of their ideas into designing your garden.

When my wife and I lived in the Willamette Valley, we hired a professional landscape designer to map out a difficult area for us. For a nominal fee, she designed a first-class and workable plan for our yard.

It was money well spent because we could follow her plan at our own pace and budget consideration. In the interim, we would attend garden tours in our area to get ideas on what others were planting and how well it would fit into our design. Not only plants and flowers but also garden accessories.

Now, we live on the Oregon Coast and different things grow well on the coast and certain things don't. Recently, we attended a garden tour in Neskowin, Oregon. It was a first-class affair and we received a lot of good ideas for landscaping our place.  Mainly, what to plant and what not to plant.

So, attend a home and garden tour in your area...get some ideas...maybe hire a designer and get even more ideas!
