Cape Perpetua Oregon

If you are interested in a scenic panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, a good spot to go is Cape Perpetua on the Central Oregon Coast. Ooh, bring a camera and binoculars!

On a clear day you can see up to seventy miles of coast line. From where I was, on top of the Cape you can see all the way to Florence (24 miles away), which is looking south in the first photo.

Cape Perpetua is some eight hundred feet above sea level. There are several ways to get to the top...by automobile or, for real girls and boys, hiking!

This was part of a photo shoot, Nature Photography Workshop At Cape Perpetua that I attended on Saturday, August 2nd. There were twenty folks in attendance...all skill levels.

It was pretty good affair! There was a classroom presentation, followed by a photo field trip conducted by Outdoor Viewfinder.
