Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art

The "Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art" (JSMA) is in Eugene, Oregon...right on the University of Oregon campus! The museum basically features Northwest and Asian art.

I don't know any other way to say this, other than it rivals many so-called "big time museums". It not the biggest museum in the world. Yet, it is not small. It is a remarkable place to visit...especially set on a college campus! The U of O should be very proud!

The museum was built in 1933 to house a collection of Asian art. It has grown since!

Below, is a smattering of art that is on exhibit. You need to visit this fine museum, firsthand to fully enjoy what it encompasses.
