Most everyone has heard of Tillamook Cheese...it's world famous and the factory is located in, (where else?)...Tillamook, Oregon.
Not far from the Tillamook Cheese Factory, and probably not as well known, is the
Blue Heron Wine and French Cheese Company...and, a must place to visit on the Oregon Coast...not far from Portland.
My wife and I live in Newport and decided to take a day trip up the Coast to Tillamook and have lunch at the Heron.
What are you going to have for lunch when you visit a wine and cheese place?
However, Blue Heron is more than a wine and cheese place, it is also has a miniature animal farm and some great old trucks, and such for the kids to enjoy.
