Ashland, Oregon

Ashland, Oregon is nestled in Southern Oregon...one of the first places you come to as you cross the Oregon border, coming from California on the I5 Freeway...and, it's the last town you see crossing the border going into California.

It is home to the "Oregon Shakespheare Festival". The festival runs from February to October, every year, and yields some eleven plays on multiple stages. Folks come from all over to attend the festival each year. It's a big deal, believe me!

OK! If you are not into Shakespheare...there is the town itself. Simply, get out of your car and start walking! There are great restaurants, shops, art and cool architecture to take in. And, then attend a Shakesphere play anyway and see what you are missing.
