Things To Do In Sacramento

Our goal, on a California trip that we took, which started in Newport, Oregon was to end up in Placerville and the Gold Country. On the way we decided to visit Old Sacramento and, we were really glad that we did.

It was raining a tad but we still got out and visited some of the shops and one of the museums.

Old Sacramento is an attraction that really takes you back in time. It is well done.

It's not just a couple of blocks of old buildings...it's blocks and blocks of restored buildings (28 acres), with lots of neat shops, restaurants, railroad buildings, museums and so on to visit.

If you want to get into the history of California this is the place to be! Especially, if you take the time to visit a museum or two.

My photos are very random but I think that you'll kind of get the idea.
