Bench in the Garden

The "Bench in the Garden" is located in the famous Connie Hansen Gardens in Lincoln City, Oregon on the Oregon Coast! She developed, just a tad off of Highway 101, a one acre plot with hybrid and exotic plants.

Connie created a magnificent setting with a combination of blooms, ponds and trees. She has passed on however, volunteers and donors have kept her garden and her legacy well in tack, since.

Thanks to these volunteers and donors her garden remains open for the public to enjoy. Visitors from all around the world come to visit the wonderful collection of rhododendrons, azaleas, Japanese and Siberian iris and geraniums...not to mention the maple, magnolia and styrax japonica trees.

Her garden has been featured in The Oregonian, Sunset Magazine, Great Gardens, Fine Gardening Magazine and Northwest Travel & Life. It also has the distinction of being named one of Lincoln City's "Jewels".

The image has been converted to a digital painting that I hope you enjoy. If you would like to explore this image, or others, please see link below image!
