Manzanita Oregon Two

Installment Number Two ...photos of Manzanita, Oregon.  It's located about 25 miles south of Seaside and rates right-up-there as a very cool beach town. It has pristine beaches you can walk for miles on.

You should check out the Nehalem Valley Historical Society which is located right in the heart of the main drag in Manzanita.  You will get a nice historic feel for the area and, it is free!

And, I will repeat that there is some nice shops and restaurants to visit...without the large crowds. Enjoy!

Manzanita Oregon

A beach town that doesn't get a lot of tourist, publicity, traffic, whatever is Manzanita, Oregon. One reason is, you don't have to drive through it like you do Lincoln City, Seaside, Newport and other beach towns.

It's off of Highway 101. If you are a tourist, you can easily miss it and, it will remain a secret place.

However, for many Oregonians it's not a secret. It's located not too far south of Cannon Beach and Seaside. It's a quaint little community that is a bigger than it looks...it has a pretty good size residential area but, a small downtown area.

There are some cool shops, eating places and, if nothing else, a very nice beach to walk on.
