Chairs By The Sea Artworks

First, this is not a staged scene! These chairs are almost, not quite in someone's front yard. They are located right on the edge of the beach in the hamlet of  Neskowin on the Oregon Coast.

Neskowin is a real small community about seven miles north of Lincoln City on the Central Coast. There are no strip malls. No high rises! Not even a gas station!

However, there is this cool, laid back community with gorgeous beach cottages and, beach right next to the Pacific Ocean! Then there is "Proposal Rock" (the outcropping in the background)...a place with a history associated with romance and...well?

The setting, where the chairs are situated should tell us something about turning cell phones off, grabbing a beverage and doing absolutely nothing!

You can purchase this image in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases, beach. please see the link below this image and /or the slide shows below and, on the left side bar!

Bullards Beach State Park

Bullards Beach State Park is situated across the Coquille River from Bandon, Oregon to the North.  If you look across the river from Bandon, it looks like a "piece of cake" to get to.

It would be if you went by boat.  By car, it's a bit of a drive to enter the park and get to the west end of the Park and to the Coquille River Lighthouse and beach.

The Park itself is huge.  If you want to hike...this is it! If you want to camp...this is it! If you want to ride horses...this is it! If you want to beachcomb...this is it!

I took photos of the camping area and some of the nature trails but I decided not to post them here.

Many folks think that the Coquille River Lighthouse is a working lighthouse.  Surprise, surprise, surprise! It is an empty lighthouse and has been for many decades.

Some Beach Scenes Around Bandon

Oregon has beautiful beaches.  Most are pristine and sometimes you will find that you are the only one on one.

This can be confirmed should you ever venture to this great State and travel the coastline from Astoria to Brookings.

I am posting a few beach scenes here so you get the idea.  All photos were taken in or around Bandon on different days and times.

The second photo is very dark.  That's because that shot was taken in a bit of a squall...sunset and all.

Some beach scenes for your enjoyment!
