1953 Chevy 3100 Pickup

This 1953 Chevy 3100 Pickup was featured at a car show in Toledo, Oregon which is not too far from Newport on the Oregon Coast.

For all appearances, the truck was redone to look like new. It was pretty stock looking except for wheels and a painted grill...which looks just fine.

Apparently, the original windshield went from a spit to one piece. A truck like this has a real nostalgic feel. There is no other way to say it!

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures, and then incorporating the results into a digital painting.

Remember When There Was Service?

This is the exterior of an old Flying A Service Station in Oregon. Remember when you bought gas, for even less than a buck, someone would wash you windshield, check your oil and your tire pressure and, in some cases even vacuum your carpets?

Those days are gone!

This is an old Flying A Service Station in Oregon. Years ago, I lived not far from it and bought gas from them. Now, with all the franchise service stations, service has gone down the tube and gas prices have skyrocked.

Now days this station doesn't sell gas or provide service but, remains as a museum displaying all sorts of nostalgic things from years past...some automobile related, some not!

This image was converted into an Impressionist painting!

1941 Dodge Truck

This is around a 1941 Dodge Truck. It was, at one time a "Tillamook Cheese Factory" truck that delivered dairy related products from the factory to outlets.

Obviously, it has been set out to pasture in Hood River, Oregon...which is a long ways from the Tillamook Cheese Factory!

This image has been converted to a digital painting!

Cruisin' In A 1946 Austin-The Mouse Trap!

This is a 1946 Austin converted to a hot rod and, restored to perfection. You can bet it can tear up a drag strip.

The car is called the "Mouse Trap"! Maybe the owner was thinking, "I can build a better mouse trap and catch some unsuspecting mice!"  The Austin automobile was produced basically from 1938 to 1948.

Three different exposures were taken of the "Mouse Trap" and then converted to a High Dynamic Range (HDR) image. The final image was then converted to a digital painting!

You can purchase this image in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases! Please see the link below this image!

Packards were extremely reliable, elegant, powerful, and quality automobiles. The first Packard automobiles were produced in 1899, and the last in 1958.

This image was originally captured with three different exposures, converted to a High Dynamic Range image and then converted to a digital painting.
