Austin-Healey

During the 1950s-60s Austin Healeys were extremely popular among sport car enthusiasts.
They are still popular!

However, they are a lot more pricier than they were when brand new.

This particular Healey was captured in Newport, Oregon. And, I have no idea what year or model.

Guessing, it is a series 100-6, circa 56-59.

I personally had a 1954 which I restored. It had a small engine compared to the newer models but, it was still a ball to drive.

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color. Texture was added for a unique final image!

1930 Ford V8 Model A Hot Rod

A  Model A Ford Convertible Hot Rod is in pristine condition.

Of course, many modifications have been made to it since it was originally manufactured but, all for the better!  You could have purchased this fine roadster for around $1400 in 1930. Today, that might get you the tires!

This capture was made at a very busy car show! Any photographer will tell you that is is very difficult to photograph at car shows because of people, and usually some type of signage.

To be blunt, I was lucky to get this shot!

Hot Rodders refer the to Model  As as A-Bones. The Model A was Ford's number two success after the previous Model T.

The logic is kind of funny here...Model A following Model T...maybe should have been a "B' rather than "T".

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures to give the image more detail and color.

1953 Chevy 3100 Pickup

This 1953 Chevy 3100 Pickup was featured at a car show in Toledo, Oregon which is not too far from Newport on the Oregon Coast.

For all appearances, the truck was redone to look like new. It was pretty stock looking except for wheels and a painted grill...which looks just fine.

Apparently, the original windshield went from a spit to one piece. A truck like this has a real nostalgic feel. There is no other way to say it!

This image has been converted to High Dynamic Range (HDR) by combining three different exposures, and then incorporating the results into a digital painting.

Cool Automotive Art

This classic roadster, aptly named the "Red Bell" was featured at a car show in Newport, Oregon. It is an absolutely gorgeous car.

Automobiles like this are from another time, that sadly we will never see again! So, dream a little and motor on down the road in the "Red Bell"!

This image was converted into an Impressionist painting!

37 Ford Roadster Art

Put the top down and cruise the boulevard in this pristine 1937 Ford Convertible! When this automobile came out, you could have purchased it in the seven hundred dollar range.

Now days, if you wanted to purchase one this nice it would probably be in the seventy thousand dollar range! Anyway, you can get a print of this classic on my website a lot cheaper!

Dock Art

This cool wooden boat sits at a Yaquina River dock in Toledo, Oregon. Guessing it is a 1920's-30's style boat.

It looked to be pretty much restored. Toledo is seven miles inland from Newport on the Central Oregon Coast. Wooden boats, of any type seem to have that nostalgic look and feel whereas, everything in today's world is fiberglass.

This image has been converted to a digital painting.

Unique Cool Classic Car Coffee Mugs

This is a sample of some of the cool classic coffee and tea car mugs that are available on my website. These are one of a kind custom images/photos on each mug.

There is a variety. Some of the cars here have been restored to perfect. And, then there are the cars and trucks that were found in rural areas that look like they are abandoned but, are not and were selling for parts.

You can also purchase these images in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases, beach. please see the link below these images and /or the slide shows below and, on the left side bar!

1937 Ford Cabriolet (LINK) This 1937 Ford was in a car show in Toledo, Oregon. It is an absolutely gorgeous automobile both inside and outside. The paint is a Robin's Egg Blue. The interior is leather with a medium brown insert and tan trim. The car was labeled a "Cabriolet" instead of a roadster. There was no apparent chrome, exterior-wise. In the background, is statue of an old salt fisherman. I converted the image into High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR). I than converted the image into an Impressionist Painting or, digital painting.

1948 Packard Super Eight Touring Sedan (LINK) Packard automobiles are among the best luxury cars ever made. At one time, they outsold Cadillac. Through the years, they were somewhat profitable but, at a point they decided to buy Studebaker to compete with Chevrolet and, that was their demise. Personally, I am more into the older Packards like, 1916 to about 1950 versus the later models. For the most part, they were classy, well-built and absolutely gorgeous. This great old Packard was featured in a car show on the Oregon Coast. This image has been converted to a digital Impressionist painting.

The Rusty Old Chevy Pickup (LINK) Just an old rusty Chevy pickup truck sitting out in a field, that nobody seems to care about! It has seen better days but, with a little bit of tender loving care could be like new! It is believed this is a circa 1947-49 Chevrolet Pickup. There were just subtle differences between years for this pickup. When photographed, there were many parts missing on the truck. So, good-luck identifying the year! Three different exposures were made of the Chevy Pickup. They were then combined and converted into High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR).

1934 Ford Coupe (LINK) This is just a beautiful hot rod sitting on a side street in Oregon City, Oregon! Actually, it might be more accurate to say a classic car, not a hot rod that has been restored to better than original condition.
1950 Ford Coupe (LINK)A classic 1950 Ford Coupe. 1949 was the year that Ford really changed their design for Ford, Mercury and Lincoln. Basically, you can tell the fifty Ford from the forty nine by looking at the parking lights on the front-end. The 49 had tear dropped shapes lights.
1957 Ford Thunderbird T-Bird (LINK) The early Ford Thunderbird (T Birds) will always be known as timeless classics and are highly sought after. The 1957, as shown here featured more trunk space than the original 1955, which was a common complaint with earlier owners. The '57 is considered to be the most desirable of the early T Birds. This image has been converted to a digital painting!
34 Chevy On The Prowl (LINK)Check out this cool 1934 Chevy Sedan! Scoot down the road with class! This is a real head turner unlike today's cars that all look alike. The paint on this car is absolutely gorgeous!

1938 Ford Convertible (LINK) A classic 1938 Ford Convertible!  A patriotic scene...and not staged with the American Flag proudly displayed on this old vintage car. Closer inspection of the Ford will yield a car for parts and not one that has been restored. The car has been sitting in a field for awhile with the top down and, in a rainy Oregon location that is not good!

1929 Packard Phaeton (LINK) The 1929 Packard Phaeton is one of the most beautiful automobiles ever made.Touring at its best! Imagine going through the countryside with the top down! This is a magnificent automobile that will never be again! The first Packard automobiles were manufactured in 1899, and the last one off the assembly line in 1958. Packard was lead by its President and General Manager James Alvan MaCauley. He was inducted into the Automobile Hall of Fame. At one time, MaCauley made Packard the number one designer and producer of luxury automobiles in the United States.

1957 Buick (LINK) Are we rearing to go down the road with this cool old 57 Buick Coupe? Strapped on is a matching canoe...how neat is that?

Blue Classic Ford Truck (LINK) This classic 48 to 52 Ford truck was captured on a beautiful landscape setting  in Tillamook, Oregon and through special software was converted to High Dynamic Range Photography or, HDR. It hasn't moved for years! The exposure to the weather has pretty much rusted it out. It is becoming part of the landscape! There is something about old trucks that is just plain cool and intrigue us. Maybe, it's because they differ so much in design than the trucks produced today that, basically all look alike. Ford trucks like this F-Series began in January 1948. There was some 8 models of trucks: F-1 for half-ton pickup, F-2 for three-quarter ton, up to the F-7 and F-8 heavy-duty trucks. The base engine produced 95-horsepower. Optional was a flathead V8, producing 100-horsepower. The classic Ford truck pictured is a V8!

55 Chevy Coupe Bel Air (LINK) The 1955 Chevrolet (Chevy) is considered a huge turning point for General Motors and a major success. It was available in 3 models: the 150, 210, and Bel Air. The Bel Air being the luxury model.

Willys Overland

This is a 1916 Willys Overland Roadster...a highly modified Willys with a 350 Chevy Engine! This one has a cool yellow and red paint job.

Way back in 1908, a gentleman by the name of John Willys bought the Overland Automotive Division of Standard Wheel Company. In 1912, he renamed it Willys-Overland Motor Company.

For four years,1912 to 1918, Willys was the second-largest producer of automobiles in the United States behind Ford Motor Company. The recession in 1920 did not benefit the Willys Corporation and they struggled until around 1941 when they produced the famous World War 2 Jeep!

1925 Autocar Truck

Originally the company was the "Pittsburgh Motor Vehicle Company". They renamed the outfit in 1899 to the Autocar Company.

Some years later the  company decided to manufacture commercial vehicles only. Autocar is the oldest surviving motor vehicle brand in the Western Hemisphere.

In 1953 they sold the company to White Motor Company. However, in later years were related to the Volvo and GMC brands. This image has been converted to a digital painting.

You can purchase this image in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases, beach. please see the link below this image and /or the slide shows below and, on the left side bar!

1932 Waco Biplane

Put on your silk scarf, leather helmet and goggles and fly away in this 1932 Waco Biplane! This is one cool, affordable (in 1932) aircraft built for the casual user.

The artistry and detailing of this Waco is amazing! It had a lot of baggage capacity for the traveler... and, no extra charge for bags like some of those other folks try to hang on you!

You can purchase this image in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases, beach. please see the link below this image and /or the slide shows below and, on the left side bar!

Classic Cars - Classic Cars

This is a 1929 Packard Phaeton restored to perfection! One of the most popular slogan in those days was "Ask The Man Who Owns One"! And, S/B, "Ask The Woman That Owns One, Too"!

Packards were extremely reliable, elegant, powerful, and quality automobiles. The first Packard automobiles were produced in 1899, and the last in 1958.

This image was originally captured with three different exposures, converted to a High Dynamic Range image and then converted to a digital painting.

You can purchase this image in a variety of ways, wall art, life style, apparel, greeting cards, home decor, phone cases, beach. please see the link below this image and /or the slide shows below and, on the left side bar!

1937 Ford

There is a certain charm to old, classic cars and, this 1937 Ford Cabriolet is no exception. It was featured at a car show in Toledo, Oregon which is seven miles from the Central Oregon Coast.

I don't know the history of this particular Ford. The owner was missing so I was unable to get any particulars.

I processed the image into High Dynamic Range Photography and then converted it to an Impressionist Painting (Digital Painting). The "Old Salt in" the background gave me permission.

1937 Studebaker

This is one cool 1937 Studebaker! I found it in Carson City, Nevada. Being the age I am, I remember Studebakers as not too popular a car.

In the fifties, they were very innovative. My friend's dad worked for a dealership and would bring a different one home with him every night. It was a very impressive automobile. Good looking and way ahead of its time but, never popular!

Below, the owner has restored this 1937 Studebaker to perfect. It looked like it had just came off the assembly line, only better! It's a classic!

The image was processed through High Dynamic Range Photography (HDR). And, then converted into a digital painting.
